What happens during fabrication
After drawing approval, materials are ordered and your cabinets are built to order over 4 to 8 weeks: panels cut, boxes assembled, doors finished, hardware fitted, and every unit quality-checked against the drawings before delivery is scheduled.
Your client portal shows status through fabrication, so "is it on track" never requires a phone call.
Installation week
Installation runs 2 to 5 days for most kitchens: protection down, bases set level against the measured datum, uppers hung, panels and fillers scribed, doors and drawers adjusted, hardware aligned. Out-of-level floors, normal in older Boise homes, are absorbed at the base so counters land flat.
After cabinets land
Counter templating follows base installation, with fabrication and install adding 1 to 2 weeks before full kitchen function. Final adjustment and the punch-list walkthrough close the project; see the punch list article for that stage.
